Vaccine Schedules

FVRCP (felines): Starting as early as 6 weeks of age, give FVRCP every 3-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age. The FVRCP given after they are 16 weeks of age will be good for 1 year. A year later, the vet can decide if the vaccine given that year will be good for 1 year, 3 years, or more (usually based off the pet's lifestyle)

DA2P (canines): Starting as early as 6 weeks of age, give Da2P every 3-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age. The Da2P given after they are 16 weeks of age will be good for 1 year. A year later, the vet can decide if the vaccine given that year will be good for 1 year, 3 years, or more (usually based off the pet's lifestyle)

BORDETELLA (canines): can be given to canines after 8 weeks of age, and a single intranasal dose is good for 6 months.

RABIES (canines and felines): can be given to cats and dogs after 12 weeks of age (slight variance depending on the product label that the clinic carries). If this was their first ever Rabies vaccine, it is good for 1 year. If they have ever had another Rabies vaccine (and you can provide proof of certificate), this dose would be good for 3 years.

We recommend deworming every 2 weeks until at least 12 weeks of age or until they have a negative fecal result.
We also recommend starting on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives as early as the product is labeled for. (usually the earliest age is labeled between 6-12 weeks)

Kitten and Puppy Spay & Neuters

Our clinic offers spays and neuters at the age of 8 weeks old, and above 2 pounds.
